INTENT OF PARTIES AND STATEMENT OF
ARTISTIC SERVICES
(As To All Contracts You Enter INTO HEREIN)
“ Customer service and satisfaction are the hallmark of
our business. When considering using us as your source for fine
photography of any kind, it is important to keep in mind that
photography is, in essence an ART FORM.
It is our purpose to translate reality into the expression of
our client’ s taste, needs and vision, and to do so with
the highest professionalism and attention to detail. You are,
in the final analysis contracting for our skill and experience

PAYMENTS
A non-refundable deposit of which is one (1/3) third of the total agreed upon photography fee is due at the time of signing. This is to insure the reservation of our photographers for your bar mitzvah day. This guarantees your wedding to be photographed by our professional at Stephane Colbert Photographers.
The second payment of is due and payable no later than three (3) weeks prior to the bar mitzvah date.
The third and the final payment of is due and payable no later than three (3) weeks after the bar mitzvah. At which time, client will receive wedding proofs and/or high resolution CD.
CONTRACTED SERVICES
Stephane Colbert Photographers agrees to supply, per this contract,
the labor and material necessary to provide the photos and / or
albums selected in this contract for the fees specified.
PRINT ORDERS
Upon receipt of high resolution CD a time limit of six months
(180) days is mandatory to select enlargements that fulfill the
finished wedding album commitment. If selection has not been made
within the 180- day guideline, Stephane Colbert’s obligation
is nullified and any and all enlargements are now billable at
the current rate. High Resolution CD’s not claimed within six months after date of the bar mitzvah will be disassembled and deposits paid will be forfeited. High Resolution CD can be mailed only after balance of contract, plus an additional $10.00 for postage is paid in full. If you have any questions pertaining to this policy please inquire at time of signing this contract.
Proofs or High Resolution CD’s returned for printing
later than three months after the wedding date may be
subject to price increases.
The studio reserves the right to change preprint prices. The
package price is guaranteed at the time of contract.

BAR MITZVAH DAY COVERAGE
Our photographer will be available________ hours, depending on
your package. Additional hours may be available at
$ ____________ per hour, prepaid only.
COPYRIGHT/ INFRINGEMENT
It is illegal for you, an agent of yours, or
anyone to copy or in any way reproduce proofs without written
permission from the studio. Violators can be sued for copyright
infringement.
POSTPONEMENT /CANCELLATION OF WEDDING
In the event that the occasion is postponed or cancelled with
less than Seventy- Two (72) hours notice, Stephane Colbert Photographers
will retain all fees paid in accordance with this contract. In the event that the occasion is postponed or cancelled with more than seventy – two hours notice Stephane Colbert Photographers reserve the right to return or retain any and all deposits – unless we are able to “rebook “ your bar mitzvah date and photographer – or you book
for a new date.
DIGITAL NEGATIVES:
Stephane Colbert Photographers retains all rights, title and interest to the photographic negatives of the bar mitzvah, including advertisement, stock photography and promotional usage.
OWNERSHIP OF DIGITAL NEGATIVES
Stephane Colbert Photographers reserves the right
to use the negatives and /or reproductions for display, publication
or other purposes. The negatives remain the property of Stephan
Colbert Photographers.
DEFAULT OF CONTRACT:
Stephane Colbert Photographers will not be held responsible for
any default of contract due to an act of god, or any situation
beyond the photographer‘s control. Including but not limited
to, (i.e.) weather, or natural occurrences.
ADDITIONS AND /OR CHANGES
Stephane Colbert Photographers shall be notified of any and all changes and / or additions, such as the photographic scheduling or location, at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the bar mitzvah date.

DISPUTES
This agreement contains all of the terms and conditions of this contract and there are no other terms, either expressed or implied, that are not written herein, and no modification of, or additions to this contract can be made except in WRITING, and SIGNED BY THE PARTIES. No changes or alterations of this contract will be binding unless re-signed and initialed by Stephane Colbert Photographers and the Parent and/or Gaurdian
DISCLAIMER
Stephane Colbert Photographers will not be held responsible for any specifically unfulfilled wedding day photographs. We also prefer table seating in the reception room and are to be served a guest meal entree just before, or during the time the guest meals are served. This is to better insure that essential event photographs will be taken. No changes or alterations of this contract will be binding unless re-signed and initialed by Stephane Colbert Photographers and the Parent and/or Gaurdian.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES:
Additional prints and /or albums may be purchased at the time
of signing, or up to 2 weeks after delivery of proofs, as per
the attached *price list, pre-paid only.
LIMITED LIABILITY
Stephane Colbert Photographers takes the utmost care with respect
to exposure, development, and receipt of photographs. However,
the studio’s liability is limited to a
refund of the deposits.
OWNERSHIP OF DIGITAL NEGATIVES
Stephane Colbert Photographers reserves the right
to use the negatives and /or reproductions for display, publication
or other purposes. The negatives remain the property of the studio.
GOVERNING LAW:
The laws of the State of Connecticut shall govern this contract.

COLLECTION COSTS
The Parent and/or Gaurdian agree that each are JOINTLY and SEVERABLY liable for the balance due on said contract. That any costs of collection for any balance due shall be the responsibility of the Parent and/or Gaurdian including collection costs and reasonable
attorney fees for said cost of collection.
By signing this contract I /We acknowledge that
we have read and understand the contract for artistic services
and agree to and will abide by the terms and conditions as specified
with Stephane Colbert and agree to abide by the terms of this
agreement.
Failure to adhere to this agreement
can result in a termination of this contract and deposits paid
will be forfeited.
